Vision 2007: Setting the Pace
for the Future
San Francisco welcomes UNAA convention delegates, Labor Day weekend,
August 30th to September 2nd, 2007. This year’s convention goal
is to provide youth and young adults an open forum through which they
can discuss their experiences, network, socialize, share information
and learn from each other.
Delegates will gain tools for navigating the social, cultural, job-hunting
and educational challenges they encounter in the Diaspora, and discover
strategies for balancing western values with the Ugandan values and
traditions their parents teach them.
UNAA San Francisco’s youth team has worked especially hard
to attract delegates from all over the world. Youths from North America,
Canada, Europe and Africa will be well-represented at this year’s
convention.
