Ronald Mayinja

This is Ronald Mayinja one of the top leading music stars in Uganda.He has been in the music industry for 9years with eight albums to date. These contain hits which have dominated charts of top radio stations and these include Sinzooba,Claire,Doreen,Necklace,Njakulondoola  and his latest blust  Tulikubunkenke which  fetched him an award  of the top most  hit among all the live band songs in Uganda 2006.
The artist in question has perfomed in shows both locally and internationally  in countries like England,Kenya,Rwanda and is yet to put up another exciting perfomance in the Uganda North American Convention in Sanfrancisco in September 2007.

Fiona  Mukasa

Fiona's Father is the late Elly Wamala was a known Ugandan Musician, her music career originates from her childhood when she was 9 years when she started singing and joined her father's band, and she developed her music talent through the encouragement of her dad and Mrs Drusilla Wamala at Makindye – Kampala.  She has travelled in many different nations United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, East Africa and also singing in big crusade like Reinhard Bonkie, Pastor Robert Kayanja's meetings, send the Cow project at Wembley INDOOR Stadium in UK, in schools and colleges, raising funds for widows. Fiona is a great weapon in the Kingdom, she is a preacher, evangelist and organises big meetings, she appears on National TV, Premier Radio, Christian TV channels and National Radio.  Fiona believes that her music can change peoples' lives and set them free, she has many testimonies of people receiving healing miracles through her singing at the crusades and by listening to her records.  A lame person stood up in Kayenze crusade in Tanzania.

Angella Katatumba

In 1994 i went to Canada for high school, in 1996-2000 i went to Oxford Brookes for university where i did an Economics Degree, a law Degree and a Master in human Resource Management. In 2000, i moved to Chicago and i worked in Hotels and Casinos. In 2005,I returned home to Uganda and started professionally singing.

He   comes to San Francisco not only to highllight the legacy of one of Uganda's musical giants (his father Elly Wamala R.I.P), but also to extend that bequeathed talent in continuation of the Family tradition -Entertaining through Music.It will be a pleasure.

Deejay Sharck

Dj. Sharck has been spinning wheels of steel for more than 18yrs so he is bringing with him a lot of experience and he is going to be spinning and switching dance floors with his good friend Dj Free from LA who is also a Veteran Deejay here in California.
Dj Sharck has deejayed in various Cities like : Kampala, Nairobi, London, and here in the United States.He is well known for being the kind of deejay who can spin nearly all kinds of music genres like he has no boundaries as far as playing all the way from; Hip Hop, Reggae, RnB, Afro, Ugandan Hits, Old School, to mention but a few.
He has also helped a hand in producing a couple of hit songs including songs like “ BONGA ” , and the famous Uganda's number one Reggaeton Club Banger “ TUKOLENGA ” featuring Mcs like Lizard, Wizo, and Josey.

Based out of Massachusetts, Madda Ranks a Diaspora Burgeoning artist will be show casing ballads from his latest solo project. From hits like maama and the list goes on. This "double edged sword" will feature fully in contemporary and cultural highlights ofthis year's convention.

AGLE

The Africa Great Lakes Ensemble is a project of the African Foundation for Culture and Development (AFCD), a non-profit organization based in Boston, and dedicated to the promotion of child and adult education, as well as promoting culture and cultural diversity in communities and schools.
The Africa Great Lakes Ensemble is the project of the foundation specifically mandated for cultural enhancement and diversity promotion. We are committed to the conservation, promotion, and sharing/teaching of African traditional culture (s) and heritage to the rest of the world through music, dance, drummer, and poetry. As a teacher of culture, AGLE is a bridge builder presenting African traditional culture(s), not as a dying antique museum, but as dynamic and growing traditions that continue to stimulate an intrinsic selfless enthusiasm that provides a skylight through which we can view the inner person. We do perform a variety of dances from Uganda, and the Africa great lakes region in general.
